Phobjikha Valley is only a few kilometres away from Gangtey Monastery. It is a glacier valley that is around 163 square kilometres in size and located about three thousand metres above sea level. The biodiversity in the valley is abundant. Black-necked cranes and several other globally endangered species spend their winters in the Phobjikha Valley. Drive back to Punakha or Wangdu to spend the night.

After breakfast, check out of your Punakha accommodation and make your way to Paro. The beautiful Paro valley is located in western Bhutan. Bhutan’s lone international airport is at Paro. At a height of 5,500 metres, Paro Airport is regarded as one of the most beautiful airports in the entire world. Free time during the afternoon. Stay the night in Paro.

Proceed to Paro, another fascinating site in Bhutan, for a full day of sightseeing. Visits to Drukgyal Dzong, View of Taktsang Monastery, Kichulanka Monastery, Ta Dzong, Paro Rinpung Dzong (Museum), Nya-Mey Zam, Dungtse Lhankhang, Kila Gompa, and Druk Choeding are planned for today.
