Today, we travel to Monte Carlo, which is formally a part of the Principality of Monaco’s administrative territory. We stop at the Eze perfume factory on route; this region of France is well-known for its fragrances. We visit Prince’s Palace, the residence of Prince Rainier III and Princess Grace, when we first arrive in Monte Carlo. One of Monaco’s most striking structures, it serves as the Prince of Monaco’s official house. A visit to the most renowned casino in the world, the SBM Casino, which has been in several Hollywood films, will come next. We next travel to Menton, which is also known as “the gem of France” and is located on the French Riviera in southeast France. We enter Menton Old Town, which has a maze of little lanes lined with houses painted in soft hues. Here, we may visit St. Michel Basilica, a Russian church constructed in the classic Russian Orthodox style, and a Baroque Roman Catholic basilica with artefacts and a 17th-century organ. We then go to Exotic Bioves Garden, which is well-known for its annual lemon festival. All year long, this lovely garden provides a stunning view of the mountain.
Today, we take a scenic journey from Saint Jean Cap Ferrat to St. Tropez, a little fishing community on the French Riviera. An old beach town is Saint Jean Cap Ferrat. Here, we go to the French coastal property Île-de-France. When we first arrive in St. Tropez, we go to Vieux Port (Old Port) and are enchanted by the picture-perfect sight of modest fishing boats and chic yachts parked in the port, which is bordered by vibrant cafés with outdoor terraces and pastel-colored Mediterranean homes. Later, we stroll through La Ponche, the most scenic part of Saint Tropez and the ancient heart of the fishing hamlet. We go to Toulon, a port city on the Mediterranean coast of southern France, in the late afternoon. On the way, we pass by Port Grimaud, also referred to as the Provencal Venice. Today, we take a cable car journey to Mont Faron and take in the city’s breathtaking vista. Later, we stroll through the old town, which is a pedestrian area with winding alleyways, little squares, and several fountains. We also pass by Liberty Square and the Opera Theatre, which is France’s second-largest opera house after the Palais Garnier in Paris. then pay a vineyard a visit and take in the stunning Provence countryside. Afternoon travel takes us to Marseille, the second-largest city in France after Paris and the country’s oldest. A visit to Marseille Cathedral, a Roman Catholic cathedral and a national monument of France, is next. Notre-Dame de la Garde Basilica, a Romano-Byzantine basilica that dates back to the 19th century, is best known for its grand bell tower, which is topped with a shining gold statue of the Virgin Mary.
Today, we go on a full-day excursion to the Calanques National Park, which UNESCO has designated as a World Heritage Site because of its white cliffs and blue ocean. While travelling, we pass through Cassis town, one of Provence’s best coastal communities, and take in the picturesque harbour. As we enter the Calanques National Park, we travel through it while taking in the expansive views of the bay and Cape Canaille, the tallest sea cliff in all of Europe.
We travel to Nice today. We stop at Aix-en-Provence, a little college town in Southern France, on way. We visit Aix Cathedral, a Roman Catholic church and the residence of the Archbishop of Aix-en-Provence and Arles, as soon as we arrive in Aix-en-Provence. We then stroll through the historic, winding streets of the city, including Corso Mirabeau, a graceful avenue lined with cafes, restaurants, and shops. The Valensole Plateau, often known as the Lavender Country because of its vivid lavender fields, should then be visited (Best time Jul and Aug). The lavender-growing region on France’s largest plateau stretches as far as the eye can reach, with fields of blue, violet, and purple hues. Later, we stroll through the quaint town of Valensole. We travel to Nice in the afternoon. As we tour Nice after arriving, we come across the city’s Town Hall, a stunning Neo-classical structure that serves as the administrative centre for Nice. We also visit the city’s waterfront. Later, we set off towards Villefranche-sur-Mer to explore its vibrant harbour.
